I love intimate weddings. I am not talking about intimate weddings with 80 guests, though some might consider those intimate. I am talking about weddings with 10 guests or less! I had the pleasure of planning B & T’s intimate wedding with only 8 guests. That’s 8 guests including the bride and groom! It was indeed one of my favorite weddings I’ve planned.
I’m so excited to share some of the images from this wedding by Ashley Macphee Photography. She captured the day oh-so-perfectly!
The morning spent getting ready was so relaxed, lighthearted and fun. Of course, we started with makeup and hair then the sister of the bride helped her get dressed and ready for the limo to pick her up for Palais de Justice. The groom had arrived at the courthouse well ahead of time and anxiously waiting for his bride. After a heartwarming ceremony, we headed back to the hotel for a delicious lunch and bonding time. This is one of the benefits of having an intimate wedding; meaningful quality bonding time between the two families.
Since it was an intimate wedding, the bride and groom were able to have a very relaxed and stress-free day without having to worry too much about their guests. They were able to take a pause in the afternoon and to spend some alone time with the photographer to get some beautiful newly wed portraits done. Check out the rest of their wedding evening with some champagne and a 5-course meal with a decadent two-tier wedding cake.
